Community Room

RARA's downstairs Community Room is available to rent for events or meetings that advance our mission or that address issues related to poverty or health in our community.

Mission: To aid Rockbridge area households in a time of emergency when help is needed to meet life’s basic needs.

The room is not available for rental by:

• Private individuals, groups, or businesses.

• Political organizations for the purpose of conducting political work. Separate work related to RARA’s mission or goals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

• Organizations that do not uphold RARA’s policy of treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, race/ethnicity, nationality, or religion.

Organizations will be charged $30 for a half day and $60 for a full day to rent the space. These fees ensure that RARA can cover building operating costs such as utilities, supplies, and maintenance so that our regular budget can be dedicated to programming.

Please complete the form below to request use of the space. We will review your application and let you know if it has been approved or denied within 3 business days. Requests must be submitted at least 1 week in advance of use.
