tons of food distributed per year
RARA's free Neighborhood Grocery (formerly called the Food Pantry) is available to anyone who needs it. While many people associate food pantries with a pre-packaged box of cans, we offer a client-choice model where you can shop for yourself based on family size, dietary needs, and food preferences. In addition to staples like canned veggies, pasta, beans, and soup, we offer fresh produce, bread, desserts, deli items, and meat at every distribution. We also stock the grocery with health and hygiene items like soap, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. There is even a "flavor" section with spices, sauces, and marinades, because we all want our food to taste good too!

The Neighborhood Grocery is open four days a week, and households may visit once a week if needed. No documents or ID are required. We just ask a few simple questions about your household to register you during your first visit.

We encourage anyone who could use a little extra help to stop by! Whether you are working and still having trouble making ends meet, already receive other benefits, or are just having a hard month or year, we are here. We promise we won't run out of food, and you won't be taking food from someone else by getting some for yourself!
